Urban Art Up directs and coordinates mural and public art projects for cities, public authorities and institutions, from the site survey to the finished wall.
Based in France. Available for projects across Europe and internationally.
Working within public constraints.
Public sites come with operating, access and safety requirements. We organise the schedule, access, equipment and safety before the artists arrive, and coordinate every intervention on site until completion.
Art direction suited to the place.
Each project is designed in dialogue with the architecture, landscape and function of the site, with a mock-up to fine-tune colours, volumes and visual balance before execution.
Working with institutional partners.
For DIRMED, the State road authority for south-eastern France, Urban Art Up coordinated an artistic programme on road infrastructure. The USAP club commissioned murals for Stade Aimé-Giral, and the Service Pénitentiaire d’Insertion et de Probation (SPIP) asked Urban Art Up to design and supervise an artistic project at the Centre Pénitentiaire de Perpignan.
