Two murals
at Stade Aimé-Giral
Commissioned by USAP, Urban Art Up supported the creation of two murals at Stade Aimé-Giral in summer 2021.
The club gave Braga Last One and Polack Graffiti two spaces to work in. Beneath the stands, Braga created an anamorphic mural across several wall surfaces. Outside, Polack combined a rugby player with graffiti lettering.
In its official announcement, USAP scheduled the unveiling for 27 November 2021, before the USAP–Clermont match.

A supporter painted across several wall surfaces, beneath the stands.
Braga Last One uses changes in the wall’s planes to compose an anamorphic mural. The face, arm and hand extend across separate surfaces: seen from the intended viewpoint, they form a single figure.

Client: USAP (rugby club)
Location: Stade Aimé-Giral, Perpignan
Year: 2021
Project type: Mural programme in the stadium (two main murals by Braga Last One and Polack Graffiti, plus complementary paintings)
Urban Art Up’s role: Art direction, coordination and production
The USAP club asked Urban Art Up to transform several spaces of Stade Aimé-Giral through street art. The aim was to strengthen the club’s visual identity and bring a strong artistic dimension to an emblematic place in Perpignan. Urban Art Up provided the art direction, coordination and production of a series of murals. Several walls were painted to create a coherent visual identity, inspired by Catalan symbols, colours and imagery.
Created in summer 2021 by Braga Last One and Polack Graffiti, the two works were due to be inaugurated on 27 November 2021, before the USAP / Clermont match.
The works
Mural by Braga Last One
Originally from Marseille, Braga Last One develops a visual universe shaped by lettering, colour and optical illusion. His work blends murals, anamorphosis and urban installations to create a direct dialogue between the place and its viewers. His anamorphosis, painted beneath the stands, makes a supporter appear to burst out of the wall.
Mural by Polack Graffiti
Polack Graffiti created a mural of a rugby player lying down, the ball tucked under his arm.

Other murals in the stadium
Urban Art Up also supervised the creation of several complementary paintings within the stadium, bringing new graphic approaches and establishing a strong visual language throughout the space.
