Food & Song evenings
Throughout the festival, eight “Food & Song” evenings brought the Halle des sports of Canohès to life: a music programme featuring Massbeat (swing and pop funk dance) and Papito Collective (electro-acoustic), together with local food trucks and a bar for convivial evenings.

The Festival Les Billes s’agitent
The festival “Les Billes s’agitent”, organised by Urban Art Up, took place from 15 June to 13 July 2023 at the Halle des sports of Canohès. This edition had sport and its associated values as its common thread: diversity, fraternity, sharing and performance. For a month, the Halle des sports was entirely taken over by the artists and transformed into a place devoted to urban art in all its forms. Murals, exhibitions, art workshops, mapping, graffiti jams, escape games and music performances followed one another throughout the festival. The artists in residence worked directly on site, making the place evolve week after week and allowing the public to discover different practices, techniques and approaches to contemporary creation. The Halle des sports thus became a space for meeting, discovery and transmission around urban art, in an unusual setting at the crossroads of culture, sport and education. With this second edition, Urban Art Up wished to offer a lively, accessible and collective project, where the works are built in the place itself and in direct connection with the public.
The magic of Claude Billès’s mapping
At the “Les Billes s’agitent” event, we had the privilege of witnessing an exceptional artistic creation, orchestrated by Claude Billès. This mapping captured our imagination by exploring the themes of inclusion, disability and sport in a deeply moving way. Through each projection, the mapping took us on a unique journey. It portrayed sport as a universal language that transcends borders. These magical moments revealed a fundamental truth: determination, courage and a passion for sport are forces that know no limits, whatever the path travelled.
The images that came to life before our eyes symbolised diversity, resilience and unity. They reminded us of our commitment to equal opportunities, whatever one’s life path. We express our gratitude to Claude Billès for creating this inspiring mapping, which transcended barriers and lit our way towards a future where every individual can flourish.
